First Timer

We're signed up to all of these social networking sites, Reverbnation is one of them. They rate the band. You create a profile with songs, picture, links, show dates and all of that crap. Then judging by how many people visit your site or click on your links, you get rated among other bands on the site. When you sign into the main page to control your settings there is a menu that lets you know how complete your profile is.... we have had a 66% completion since the day I created it. It says we need a blog.

So, today while a bit hungover I have created the Soul Tree Blog. It is actually kind of liberating. The idea for this blog is to write about our experiences in the music biz. Besides the rock and roll we get to play and the faces we rock, we have to do a lot of kissing ass. From the bookers, to the club owners, the drunk patrons... a lot of it goes down. The goal being to get as many people to like you so they go to the shows. So, in this blog we are going to write about about any given situation that comes our way... with no bull shit and no ass kissing. The truth as we see it. *in British voice: A documentation of the journey, as it were* We'll see what happens.
